Author, Anthony Nayagn

Anthony Nayagan shares his own experiences and the wisdom he has found in a way that inspires, educates and motivates, and helps you open your own door to the spirituality and consciousness you seek. This book is the result of all those life experiences along with his interpersonal relationship with the Divine.

The mission of this book is to reach out to all those who have left the Church. Devastating sex scandals and abuses of power have pushed people away from the Church and from God. Meanwhile, the Church continues to recover from its mistakes while failing to go after the people who are leaving.

Christ, the Good Shepherd, told us to go after that one sheep that was lost.

This is a very good book, however, it isn’t the kind of reading that I can do quickly. I prefer to digest texts like this over time so that I can actually consider the information and ideas before moving onto the next series of ideas.
I’m really enjoying reading the author’s perspective on how mysticism and Christianity are intertwined. I was drawn to this book because I have been away from the church for some time myself, and could use a bit of a spiritual update that is based on facts.
He talks a great deal about how science has reached a level of advancement where it actually supports the idea of religion rather than discrediting it. His ideas have definitely sparked more of an interest in learning about quantum physics. I’ll update my review when I’ve had the time to delve further into the insights that this book offers.

By Anthony Nayagan

Nowhere in the Gospel of Jesus, could I discern that Jesus intended an establishment of an institutional church. He wanted Christians to seek Christian Spirituality and live a life in the wisdom of God. That is the life Adam and Eve lived before their fall from grace. It was life in an interactive relationship with God, in love, divine grace, and the wisdom of God. That is the life Christ came to restore in us. That is also the church the apostles strived to create, a church in which Christian Spirituality thrived.
